Lviv Regional Police Office Denies Taking Passport Of Saakashvili

The Lviv regional office of the National Police of Ukraine denies having taken the passport of former chairperson of the Odesa Regional State Administration / leader of the New Forces Movement political party Mikheil Saakashvili at the Shehyni border checkpoint.

Svitlana Dobrovolska, the head of the press service of the Lviv regional office of the National Police, said this to Ukrainian News Agency.

She gave no further details.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Saakashvili said police have taken his passport.
