Ex-MP Artemenko Asking Court To Overturn Rada's Decision To Terminate His Parliamentary Mandate

Former member of the Verkhovna Rada Andrii Artemenko appeals to the Higher Administrative Court asking to overturn the decision of the parliament in which it terminated Artemenko's MP mandate. This is said in court's materials, Ukrainian News Agency reports. In particular, Artemenko asks the court to rescind the Rada's decision dated May 16. Oleh Kravtsov is appointed as a head judge in this claim hearing. As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on February 27, Artemenko confirmed that he has a citizenship of Canada. On May 15, the Higher Administrative Court refused to suspend the Presidential Decree on termination of Ukrainian citizenship of Artemenko and the Rada's decision on canceling of his MP mandate.
