Ukraine is obliged to pay equivalent of USD 12.5 billion in 2017-2019.
Oleh Churii, deputy governor of the National Bank of Ukraine, announced this live on ZIK television channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The NBU deputy governor notes that cooperation with the International Monetary Fund is vitally important for continuation of the structural reforms in Ukraine and for Ukraine's international reserves.
When asked on when the memorandum on economic and financial policies, which has been signed by Ukraine and has been transferred to the International Monetary Fund, will be published, the NBU deputy governor said the document would be confidential until the endorsement by the IMF.
According to the procedures of the International Monetary Fund, the memorandum on economic and financial policies will be published after Ukraine gives its official written consent to the publication.
To date, all signatories of the memorandum, including the National Bank of Ukraine, have given their consents to the publication.
Thus, the memorandum will be published soon after the endorsement by the International Monetary Fund.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the National Bank of Ukraine estimates Ukraine's payments on foreign debt in 2017 at USD 2.5 billion.
