Cabinet Authorizes Prodan As State Fiscal Service Acting Head

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has authorized Deputy Chairperson of the State Fiscal Service Myroslav Prodan as the acting head of the Authority.

Respective decision was taken at the Friday meeting of the Ukrainian Government, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Since August 21, 2015, Prodan has been an advisor for tax and customs of the first category.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on Friday, March 3, the Government suspended Nasirov as the head of the State Fiscal Service until the end of the investigation against him.

The Specialized Prosecutor's Office charges Nasirov with infliction of UAH 2 billion of losses to the state.

Overnight into March 3, a detective of the NACB served Nasirov with charge papers at the Feofaniya hospital in Kyiv.
