NACB Unaware Of Nasirov Plans To Escape From Ukraine

The National Anticorruption Bureau (NACB) does not have any information about plans of Chairperson of the State Fiscal Service Roman Nasirov to leave Ukraine for abroad.

Director of the NACB Artem Sytnik has said this at a briefing, the Ukrainian News Agency reports.

The NACB director doubts that Nasirov had known anything about his planned detention.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Specialized Anticorruption Prosecutor's Office and the NACB intend to complete the investigation into a criminal case against Nasirov by May 3.

The Specialized Prosecutor's Office charges Nasirov with infliction of losses worth UAH 2 billion to the state.
