Ukraine Expects Agrement To Appoint Deputy Foreign Minister Pristaiko Ambassador To NATO
Ukraine is expecting an agrement to appoint Deputy Foreign Minister / Head of Staff Vadym Prystaiko the head of the Mission to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).
A source in diplomatic circles told this to Ukrainian News Agency.
Vadym Prystaiko, 46, was deputy director of the NATO department in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2007-2009.
He is deputy foreign minister since December 17, 2014.
November 2012 - October 2014 he was Ukraine's Ambassador to Canada.
He was also Ukraine's representative at the ICAO December 2012 - October 2014.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on May 29, 2015, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko dismissed Ihor Dolhov from the post of the head of the Mission to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization in connection with his appointment to the post of deputy defense minister for European integration.
Yehor Bozhok is acting head of the Mission to NATO.
