European Commission To Allocate EUR 600 Million Of Macro-Financial Assistance In Coming Weeks
The European Commission plans to allocate EUR 600 million of macro-financial assistance to Ukraine in the coming weeks.
President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker has said this in a statement after the meeting with Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman in Brussels (the Kingdom of Belgium), the Ukrainian News Agency reports.
He noted that the decision was taken as a result of reforms held in Ukraine.
Mr. Juncker also stressed that Ukraine is a strategic partner of the European Union.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the EU had intended to provide Ukraine with the second tranche of the macro-financial assistance in early 2017.
