The Ministry of Defence is not considering another wave of mobilisation in connection with the events in Avdiivka, Donetsk Region.

Ukrainian News Agency has learned this from a source at the General Staff.

In his words, means and forces are enough to go without resort to another wave of mobilisation.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the United States of America on January 31 expressed concern over the escalation of the security situation in Avdiivka.

The Trilateral Contact Group (TCG; Ukraine - Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) - Russia) for resolving the situation in Donbas is meeting on Wednesday to discuss the situation in the area of Avdiivka, Donetsk Region.
