Finance Ministry Re-Capitalizes PrivatBank With UAH 107 Billion

The Ministry of Finance has re-capitalized PrivatBank with UAH 107 billion.

The bank's press service announced this in a statement, Ukrainian News reports.

The Ministry of Finance made payment for PrivatBank shares worth UAH 107 billion in December.

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, PrivatBank's authorized capital before the Ministry of Finance bought it for UAH 1 was increased to UAH 50.7 billion through a bail-in (conversion of the bank's unencumbered liabilities and funds of related persons into capital).
