Avakov Awards MP Kuprii With Glock Pistol

Internal Affairs Minister Arsen Avakov has awarded Member of Parliament Vitalii Kuprii (non-affiliated) with a Glock-43 pistol.

Ukrainian News Agency learned this from Avakov’s order a copy thereof was posted by Kuprii on Facebook.

Kuprii was bestowed for the merits in defending constitutional rights and freedoms, exemplary fulfilment of the official and social duty.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Avakov on December 1 said that the Ministry of Internal Affairs had presented 2,200 pieces of signature firearms.

As of July, Avakov has awarded 88 MPs with firearms.
