NBU: PrivatBank Likely To Be Sold In 2018-2020

The National Bank of Ukraine admits the sale of PrivatBank in 2018-2020.

Chair of the National Bank of Ukraine Valeriya Hontareva has told this to the Ukraina TV Channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"I believe PrivatBank will be worth something and it will be possible to sell it... I believe the process will take at least a year but not more than three," Hontareva said.

The NBU head also said that foreign managers will enter the supervisory board of the bank.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine intends to sell PrivatBank after its work stabilizes.
