Zelenskyy talks to Trump's special envoys Witkoff and Kushner
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a telephone conversation with Donald Trump’s special representatives, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner. Axios journalist Barak Ravid was the first to report this, and the talks were later confirmed by Ukrainian Presidential Advisor Dmytro Lytvyn, according to RBC-Ukraine.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner are coordinating the US administration’s efforts to resolve the war in Ukraine and engage with Washington’s key international partners.
On May 29, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha stated that trilateral talks (between Ukraine, the US, and russia) are on hold. He believes that a meeting at the leadership level is necessary for progress.
