Zelenskyy meets with King Charles III at Windsor Palace
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a private audience with King Charles III of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The meeting took place on June 8 at Windsor Castle. The head of state announced this on social media.
"As always, it was a good audience with King Charles III of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland," the President of Ukraine noted.
During the conversation, Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed his deep gratitude to His Majesty personally, to the royal family, and to the entire British people for their unwavering and consistent support of Ukrainians in the fight against russian aggression.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in the United Kingdom, where he is scheduled to meet with French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy also thanked the King of the United Kingdom for his public support and for calling on US lawmakers to increase aid to Ukraine.
