Occupants advance near two settlements on Pokrovsk axis - DeepState
The army of the aggressor country, russia, has advanced near two settlements in the Donetsk Region. The Ukrainian analytical project DeepState reported this on Friday, April 24.
According to OSINT analysts, the occupiers’ advance has been recorded on the Pokrovsk axis.
Russian troops have established a foothold on the outskirts of the settlement of Novooleksandrivka. They have also taken a number of positions south of the settlement of Hryshyne.
DeepState analysts also noted that certain positions in the area of the village of Vilne on the Pokrovsk axis are now fully under the control of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. The advance of Ukrainian troops in this sector of the front became known on April 1.
At the time of publication, the Ukrainian Defense Forces had neither confirmed nor denied reports of russian troop advances.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, today, April 24, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported management issues within the 14th Separate Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The brigade command concealed the actual state of affairs, which led to the loss of a number of positions.
As a reminder, overnight, russian troops attacked a commercial vessel flying the flag of St. Kitts and Nevis that was heading to the port of Odesa.
