Attempt to break through pipe in Sumy Region failed: AFU eliminate over 50 occupiers

In the Sumy Region, the russian military again tried to penetrate the rear of the Ukrainian forces, using a gas pipe and light equipment. The attack was detected and stopped in time.

This was reported by the 71st separate airmobile brigade of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"You won't believe it - but the pipe again. Another attempt to break through the gas pipe and on light equipment is not the first or second time, but with the same result. The enemy tried to infiltrate using the gas pipe, as well as maneuvering on ATVs and motorcycles. Thanks to the coordinated work of the fighters of the 71st separate airmobile brigade and related units, these actions were detected and stopped in time," the report says.

According to the military, the enemy's losses amounted to 35 killed and 17 wounded. Three motorcycles and four ATVs were also destroyed.

Similar attempts in this direction are not recorded for the first time - russian units have already used this route before, despite significant losses.

Recall that the occupiers failed to capture a single settlement in Ukraine in a week.
