Today, April 20, the UN Security Council will meet to discuss the latest shelling by the aggressor state of russia on Ukrainian cities.

This was reported by Ukrinform.

It is indicated that the request for the meeting "came from Ukraine after large-scale russian air strikes on Dnipro and other cities of Ukraine" that took place on April 14.

Security Council members - Denmark, France, Greece, Latvia, Liberia and the United Kingdom - supported this request.

Assistant Secretary-General for the Middle East, Asia and the Pacific Mohamed Khaled Hiary and Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs Joyce Msuya are expected to deliver reports.

The Security Council meeting will begin at 3:00 pm (10:00 pm Kyiv time).

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on April 14, the aggressor country of russia struck Dnipro, killing five people.
