Air defense destroys 667 air targets during massive strike in Ukraine - Air Forces

During the last day, the russian occupation forces carried out an unprecedented combined strike, launching 703 air targets at the territory of Ukraine. It was reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The attack lasted in two waves and included 44 missiles of various types and 659 attack drones. Thanks to the coordinated work of aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops and mobile fire groups, 636 drones, as well as most cruise and ballistic missiles, were eliminated.

Despite the effective work of the defenders of the sky, 12 missiles and 20 drones were recorded at 26 locations in different regions of the country. In addition, fragments of downed targets fell at 25 locations, which also caused damage. The main impact was on Iskander ballistic missiles and Kh-101 cruise missiles.

The Air Forces emphasize that the operation to repel the attack lasted more than a day, and as of this morning, experts continue to clarify the data on the consequences of the hits.

As a reminder, it was also reported that russia attacked Kyiv with ballistic missiles and drones at night, there are killed and injured in 5 districts of the capital. As a result of the night attack on Kyiv, houses in four districts were destroyed, 5 people were killed.

Russia attacked Odesa with several waves of attack drones and missiles, 7 people were killed in the attack.
