The cost of resilience plans for water supply and sewage systems that could be targeted by enemy attacks is UAH 12.7 billion. Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko announced this on her Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

"The sustainability plans envisage the construction of 26 projects in 10 communities. The measures include network ringing, redundancy of critical nodes, installation and connection of backup equipment, and other technical solutions for stable water supply. The total cost of the measures is UAH 12.7 billion," she said.

Svyrydenko noted that the government is preparing the country for the next winter in the face of constant attacks and new threats, and the priorities remain unchanged: protection of critical infrastructure, development of distributed generation, backup heat supply, stable water supply and sewerage.

She emphasized that all regions are at risk, regardless of the distance from the front line, so the pace of preparation should be the same throughout the country - accelerated.

The Prime Minister said that the government has already provided funding for the first works of the resilience plans - a total of UAH 22.1 billion to protect 576 priority critical facilities.
