Macron responds to Trump's mockery of his family life

French President Emmanuel Macron said that US President Donald Trump's mockery of his marriage did not deserve a response. His words were quoted by Le Monde and The Guardian on Thursday, April 2.

Macron expressed dissatisfaction with the US President's statements regarding his family relationships. The French President stressed that Trump's comments on his marriage were " neither elegant nor up to the standard".

"So I'm not going to respond to them - they don't deserve a response," Macron told reporters.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on April 2, US President Donald Trump mocked French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte Macron during a private dinner, and also once again imitated his French counterpart.
