General Staff moves military training to Ukraine due to lack of experience of foreign instructors
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has decided to transfer part of the training of military personnel to the territory of Ukraine, in particular because Western instructors do not have the necessary combat experience.
Deputy Head of the Main Department of Doctrine and Training of the General Staff Yevhen Mezhevikin has stated this, Militarnyi and LB.ua report.
Foreign instructors are not fully aware of the current situation in Ukraine.
"They are detached from our realities, from the current hostilities," Mezhevikin said.
This is why Ukraine has abandoned some of its training programs abroad.
Mezhevikin explained that some partners were unable to adapt their approaches due to legislative restrictions or lack of understanding of the specifics of the processes.
At the same time, Ukrainian instructors are involved in training Ukrainian military outside the country. They are formed on a rotational basis from the military who have the most relevant combat experience.
Transferring training to Ukraine also reduces time and simplifies logistics. According to Mezhevikin, this allows for a faster response to changes at the front and avoids additional movements of units between countries.
Recall that the NATO multinational team led by Ukraine defeated a simulated enemy team at the large-scale Dynamic Messenger 2025 exercise and even "sank" one frigate.
Ukrainian anti-aircraft gunners, who arrived in the Persian Gulf at the request of the US Central Command, are amazed at the irrational approaches of the US army to fighting drones. The military can spend hundreds of times more expensive missiles to shoot down a cheap Shahed. Moreover, the Americans do not move or even disguise their equipment.
