Buntar Aerospace Raises $10.4M to Scale ISR Drone Systems and Software

Investment from Axon Enterprise, Munkene AS, and other investors will scale Buntar's ISR platforms and software and advance a strategic partnership focused on earlier intelligence and stronger situational awareness.

Buntar Aerospace, a Ukrainian defense technology company building unmanned systems and software for intelligence and reconnaissance operations, today announced that it has raised $10.4 million financing round led by public safety technology leader, Axon Enterprise, with participation of Munkene AS and other investors.

Buntar develops Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) platforms and software designed to help operators gain earlier awareness, improve situational understanding, and make faster, better-informed decisions in demanding environments. The new financing will support the company's next phase of growth, including the scale-up of its unmanned ISR systems and Copilot software platform.

In modern operations, better information often means better protection. Buntar's technology is built to help teams detect earlier, understand more clearly, and act faster when time and lives are on the line.

In connection with the financing, Buntar and Axon are developing a strategic partnership focused on commercial collaboration and technology integration. The partnership is intended to expand access to ISR capabilities that provide earlier intelligence, strengthen situational awareness, and help protect lives in high-risk environments.

"We build alongside frontline units and understand how important timely intelligence is in real operations," said Bohdan Sas, Co-founder of BuntarAerospace. "This financing will help us scale systems that give operators better information sooner and help protect lives in the moments that matter most."

"Our focus has always been on building technology that performs in demanding conditions and helps teams operate with greater confidence," said Ivan Kaunov, Co-founder and CEO of Buntar Aerospace. "Working with Axon gives us the opportunity to combine operational experience from Ukraine with global expertise in safety technology and software."

The round also included participation from Munkene AS and other private investors.
