15-year-old girl killed in russian attack in Chernihiv Region, her parents wounded

On the night of March 12, a 15-year-old girl was killed in a settlement of the Mena community in the Chernihiv Region as a result of a russian attack. Her parents were injured.

It was reported by the Mena City Council.

Two residential buildings were damaged as a result of the shelling.

Police and rescuers are working at the scene. Units from the Mena and Koriukivka communities are involved in the aftermath. Work is underway to extinguish the fire and help the victims.

As of 7:45 a.m., the State Emergency Service specified that the fire started after a russian drone crashed. A residential building and an outbuilding caught fire.

As a reminder, yesterday russian troops attacked enterprises in Koriukivka and Novhorod-Siverskyi Districts of the Chernihiv Region with Geran drones. A grain storage facility burned down there.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of Thursday, March 12, russian troops launched 94 strike drones over the territory of Ukraine, and air defense forces managed to neutralize 77 of them.
