7 civilian vehicles in Volyn catch up with territorial recruitment and social support center's vehicle and forcibly release military liable
In the Volyn Region, about seven civilian vehicles chased a territorial recruitment and social support center's vehicle carrying a person liable for military service. As a result of the maneuvers, the territorial recruitment and social support center's vehicle drove into a ditch, and the civilians forcibly released the person
It was reported by the Volyn Regional territorial recruitment and social support center.
The incident took place on March 8 near the village of Ozero, where the notification group performed a service task to deliver a person liable for military service, a resident of Zaporizhzhia, to the territorial recruitment and social support center.
It is stated that about seven civilian vehicles overtook the territorial recruitment and social support center's vehicle and began to block its movement, performing "dangerous maneuvers" and cutting the vehicle.
After the vehicle drove into a ditch, a group of people, according to the territorial recruitment and social support center, used force against the servicemen, broke the car window and "forcibly released" the person liable for military service.
As a result of the clash, one serviceman sustained a head injury, and another has abrasions on his forearm and face as a result of breaking the front passenger window of the car. Their condition is stable.
The incident was reported to law enforcement agencies, and all persons and vehicles involved in the "organization and execution of the attack" are currently being identified.
"Obstructing the legitimate activities of the military, the use of force and the organization of such attacks during martial law is a serious crime and entails criminal liability," the territorial recruitment and social support center said.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, meanwhile, an employee of the Dnipropetrovsk regional territorial recruitment and social support center, Oleksandr Lialko declared cryptocurrencies worth more than UAH 400,000. The serviceman acquired these assets during the full-scale invasion.
Meanwhile, the State Bureau of Investigation reported on the exposure of an interregional group, that organized the illegal deregistration of persons liable for military service and provided "services" for evading mobilization. The group consisted of military officers from the capital and regional territorial recruitment centers, a former law enforcement officer and an unemployed Kyiv resident.
Earlier in Lutsk, during the notification activities, a man fired several shots in the direction of the territorial recruitment and social support center's servicemen.
