The United Jewish Community of Ukraine has systematized and published a list of sites damaged by the aggressor state Russia since the beginning of its full-scale invasion in 2022. This was stated in a community announcement.

To mark the fourth anniversary of Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine, the United Jewish Community of Ukraine released a list of affected or destroyed synagogues, Jewish community facilities, Jewish cemeteries, and historical sites that have sustained documented damage.

“Over four years of full-scale war, damage and destruction have been recorded at approximately 40 sites of Jewish religious, educational, social, memorial, and historical infrastructure across various regions of Ukraine — from frontline areas to major cities. The actual scale of damage, especially in temporarily occupied territories, may be significantly higher and will require clarification after hostilities end and safe inspections are conducted,” the statement reads.
