Environmental tax revenues increased by UAH 219 million to UAH 5.6 billion in 2025

In 2025, 35,600 taxpayers paid the environmental tax, and the budget received more than UAH 5.6 billion, which is UAH 219 million more than in 2024.

This is stated in the report of the Tax Service, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

The largest revenues from environmental tax:

• Dnipropetrovsk Region - UAH 1.1 billion;
• Kyiv city - UAH 1 billion;
• Ivano-Frankivsk Region – UAH 640 million;
• Zaporizhia Region – UAH 392 million.

The growth of environmental tax revenues provides the state with additional resources to finance environmental protection programs, reduce industrial pollution and restore ecosystems.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the State Tax Service previously named the leaders in paying transport tax in 2025.
