Vitali Klitschko celebrated the New Year with soldiers at the front

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko celebrated the New Year with the soldiers at the front for the fourth time. He brought almost 30,000 drones, cars and various equipment from the Kyiv community to 13 combat units. He told about this on his Telegram channel.

"Our defenders send their best wishes for the New Year! Traditionally, I celebrate it with the soldiers at the front. This time I visit a total of 13 units in the Kharkiv sector and in the Donbas. I have delivered 29,270 drones of various types. FPV, Autel Evo, Mavic - night and day, heavy bombers. The fighters also received tractors, excavators, 12 vehicles (pickups), electronic warfare systems, drone detectors, various types of radio stations and a car tire station from the Kyiv community. And some goodies for a symbolically festive table at the front," Vitali Klitschko wrote.

In particular, the 3rd Army Corps, the 72nd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after the Black Cossacks, the 225th Separate Assault Regiment and others received assistance.

He greeted the soldiers, talked to them and thanked them for defending Ukrainian cities.

"We support our defenders as much as we can. Tired, without sleep, under constant enemy fire, in the cold and snow, far from their families, they are fighting heroically. For our free future, for our country. Glory to Ukraine and its Heroes!" Klitschko emphasized.

The soldiers, in turn, thanked the people of Kyiv for their important support.

"At the moment, the Third Army Corps is holding the Lyman and Borivka directions, a total of about 200 km of the front. Today, we have received 12,000 FPVs, 100 Mavic, 20 ground robotic complexes, 50 reconnaissance wings. This is a significant assistance. Not for a week, not for a month, but for the entire winter campaign. Thank you to all Kyiv residents, thank you Vitali Volodymyrovych," said Andrii Biletskyi, commander of the Third Army Corps.

As previously reported, in 2025, Kyiv allocated more than UAH 12 billion from the city budget to help the military, veterans and their families.
