Sybiha calls Orbán "Russia's most valuable frozen asset in Europe"
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha posted a link to a speech by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, who opposed the transfer of frozen russian assets to Ukraine, and captioned the video "Russia's most valuable frozen asset in Europe." Sibiha wrote about this on his X-account on Sunday, December 14.
Orbán noted that the confiscation of russian assets can be equated to a declaration of war, and emphasized that Hungary "will not play along." According to him, Europe needs peace, not escalation.
"Russia's most valuable frozen asset in Europe," Sybiha commented.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on November 29, Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha spoke about how the kremlin used the visit of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban to moscow.
