Emergency blackouts canceled in all regions, but situation may change - Ministry of Energy

Electricity consumption on October 11 remains high, emergency blackouts are not applied, but the situation may change.

This is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Energy.

"Electricity consumption remains high. As of 9:30 a.m., it was the same as at this time last Saturday - October 4," the statement said.

The reason is the persistence of cloudy weather throughout Ukraine. This causes low efficiency of household solar power plants and a corresponding increase in energy consumption from the general grid.

"Given the weather conditions, there is still a need for economical energy consumption today. Please do not turn on several powerful appliances at the same time from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.," the Ministry said.

In addition, as of the morning of October 11, emergency blackouts are not applied in all regions affected by the shelling. At the same time, the situation in the power system may change, the Ministry of Energy added.
