D.GROUP Launches Flagship Hospitality Project in Romania
On May 30, the international company D.GROUP, founded by Ukrainian entrepreneur Vadym Dashut, took a strategic step into the Romanian market by signing an investment agreement to develop the BUCHAREST AIRPORT HOTEL – a four-star complex under the Wyndham Garden brand, located just 150 meters from the country’s main international airport. The event was marked by a groundbreaking ceremony attended by representatives of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts and Benish Group.
The project is being implemented in partnership with one of the world’s largest hotel operators – Wyndham, which will oversee operational management. One of the key investors is Benish Group, which has joined forces with D.GROUP to launch a new high-yield asset at the heart of Romania’s transit infrastructure.
“We are here to find partners who will join us for the entire two-year construction journey, support the project, and invest in it. That’s exactly why we entered the Romanian market together with D.GROUP – and it’s an important step for us. I’m convinced this won’t be our last joint project in Romania,” said Meni Benish, founder of Benish Group.
The hotel introduces a new approach to real estate investment: a model that allows private investors to purchase individual rooms or fractional shares, enabling them to participate in a large-scale project with meaningful urban impact and receive up to 15% passive annual income. Investors are also granted 14 days of complimentary personal use of their room each year.
“What’s been happening in Romania over the past two to three years is truly impressive: we’re seeing substantial infrastructure investment and growing international interest in the country’s potential. Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has operated in Romania for over 20 years, and we are genuinely pleased to collaborate with D.GROUP on this new project in Bucharest,” noted Vassilis Themelidis, Regional Director, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts Southern and Eastern Europe.
D.GROUP’s involvement in the project reflects its long-term strategy of developing international infrastructure clusters with forecastable yields and a high standard of service. According to the company’s roadmap, construction is expected to be completed by the summer of 2027. Room sales have already begun.
“I believe this is just the beginning. Many more projects lie ahead that will soon become part of Bucharest’s identity. We have ambitious plans for Romania. In all our initiatives, we strive to build cross-cultural businesses by involving partners to achieve greater success,” said Vadym Dashut, Founder and CEO of D.GROUP.
The company views Romania as a regional hub with dynamic economic growth, investor-friendly policies, and rising demand for high-quality infrastructure. D.GROUP plans to continue its strategic expansion across the region.
“Today marks an important milestone for us: the agreement is signed, and construction is underway. The real estate market is changing. It is no longer enough to simply own a building – what matters is being part of a larger system. Romania is not just a new direction for D.GROUP. It is a fast-growing country with strong investment potential and solid prospects for profit growth. So let’s grow together,” said Anastasiia Dashut, Co-Founder of D.GROUP.
