Rada summons Sybiha on second attempt to report on results of negotiations with US in Saudi Arabia

The Verkhovna Rada managed to summon Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha on the second attempt to report on the results of negotiations with the US delegation in Saudi Arabia.

Oleksii Honcharenko, a Member of Parliament from the European Solidarity faction, announced this on his Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

152 parliamentarians voted for the relevant decision, out of the minimum required 226.

Honcharenko noted that he put forward a proposal to summon Sybiga to report on the details of the negotiations between the Ukrainian and American delegations in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia), as well as on the main geopolitical challenges.

Tomorrow, the Rada is expected to hear speeches by the Minister of Social Policy Oksana Zholnovych and Sybiha, according to the agency.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on March 11, the Verkhovna Rada refused to summon Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha to report on the results of negotiations with the US delegation in Saudi Arabia.

Meanwhile, according to Yermak, Ukraine has expressed its readiness to accept the US proposal to immediately introduce a temporary, 30-day ceasefire, which can be extended by mutual consent of the parties and upon acceptance and implementation by the russian side.
