Recall that on the morning of January 1, 2025, Ukraine's gas transportation system stopped pumping russian gas towards Europe.

Fico said that not only Slovakia and the European Union countries are suffering from the transit stoppage, but also allegedly Ukraine.

He called on Zelensky to meet as soon as possible and suggested organizing negotiations near the state border between Ukraine and Slovakia.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on January 9, Fico said that Slovakia is considering a number of measures that Bratislava will allegedly introduce against Kyiv due to the cessation of gas transit.
