Russian army suffers largest losses in automotive equipment since start of large-scale invasion on December 14

On December 14, the army of the aggressor country, russia, suffered the largest losses in automotive equipment since the start of the large-scale invasion.

The Ministry of Defense has announced this, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

"According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, during December 14, 2024, Ukrainian defenders destroyed and damaged 181 vehicles of the Russian army. This is the maximum damage to this type of equipment in a day since the start of Russia's large-scale invasion of Ukraine," the Ministry reports.

This concerns the destruction and damage of trucks for various purposes (logistics transport, in particular, fuel tankers) and light motor vehicles.

Before that, the largest losses in automotive equipment were recorded on March 15, 2022, when Ukrainian servicemen eliminated 179 units of vehicles of various purposes of the occupiers.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the losses of russian troops on December 15 increased by 1,070 to 763,510 people, and Ukrainian defenders over the past day destroyed 12 tanks, 29 armored combat vehicles, 23 artillery systems, 82 units of automobile equipment and tanker trucks, and 2 units of special equipment.

On December 14, the total combat losses of the enemy among the personnel amounted to 1,280 people, and Ukrainian fighters destroyed 12 tanks, 32 armored combat vehicles, 181 units of automobile equipment and tanker trucks, and 4 units of special equipment.
