Since October, more than 100 short-range ballistic missiles of the Kn-23/24 type, more than 5 million items of large-caliber artillery ammunition, as well as more than 100 pieces of equipment of various types have been transferred to russia from North Korea.

The Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has reported this in response to a request from Interfax-Ukraine.

"On October 3, the DPRK began supplying artillery systems to the Russian Federation. In total, more than 100 units of various types of equipment were transferred, including: M-1989 170-mm self-propelled artillery mounts, M-1991 240-mm multiple launch rocket systems. The supply of large-caliber artillery ammunition and short-range ballistic missiles of the Kn-23/24 type from the DPRK to the Russian Federation also continues (as of November this year, more than 5 million units and 100 units, respectively, have been delivered)," the Defense Intelligence reported.

In addition, intelligence reported that more than 60 units of the M-1989 Koksan 170-mm self-propelled guns have currently been transferred from the territory of the DPRK to the territory of russia, some of which were planned to be delivered to the Saratov Higher Artillery Command College, probably for the purpose of training personnel.

"Information on the condition of the specified artillery systems is absent," the department added.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, meanwhile, researchers from an American analytical center, based on satellite images, concluded that North Korea is expanding a key weapons production complex that assembles the KN-23 short-range missile type used by russia in Ukraine.

Earlier, the Defense Intelligence published photos of fragments of North Korean missiles that the aggressor state russia used to strike Ukraine, which show foreign components.
