Defense Ministry approves domestic UAT-TISA armored car for use in Defense Forces

The Ministry of Defense codified and approved the domestic UAT-TISA armored car for use in the Defense Forces.

This is stated in the message of the Ministry of Defense, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

It can be used to perform a wide range of tasks, depending on the assigned tasks, the machine is equipped with additional devices and equipment.

It is noted that the UAT-TISA inherited the chassis of a proven off-road vehicle of one of the well-known car manufacturers, on which a specially designed armored capsule was installed, which provides protection for the crew from fire from small arms.

The design of the armored capsule allows the installation of a machine gun on the turret, the anti-mine protection of the car withstands the detonation of explosive devices under the wheel and the bottom of the car.

The armored car has high dynamic characteristics, passability and smoothness of movement, the capacity of the fuel tanks is enough to overcome more than 1,000 kilometers at one refueling.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in October, the Ministry of Defense put into operation the universal machine gun SAR 762 MT caliber 7.62 x 51mm NATO.

The Ministry of Defense also approved the Safari HG-105M semi-automatic shotgun for use in units of the Defense Forces.
