Horses in exchange for missiles. Putin gives Kim Jong-un purebred horses as payment for weapons
Russian dictator vladimir putin has handed North Korean leader Kim Jong-un purebred Orlov Trotters in return for the transfer of artillery shells for the war against Ukraine.
This is reported by The Times.
The Veterinary Service of the Primorsky Krai, which has rail connections with North Korea, reports that 24 horses - 19 stallions and five mares - were transported across the border.
South Korean media claim that these horses are part of the payment for artillery shells sent to the russian military for use against Ukraine.
It is on the Orlov Trotters that Kim likes to pose in propaganda pictures. Previously, such animals were already sent from russia to the DPRK. In return, Kim gave Putin dogs of the local Pungsan breed. And putin, in turn, sent goats to his North Korean colleague.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, russia received at least 13,000 cargo containers, which in total can contain more than 6 million artillery shells.
At the end of July, russian troops resumed the use of North Korean KN-23 missiles for strikes on Ukraine. This was preceded by a five-month pause.
