People from Myrnohrad are being evacuated in armored capsules due to approach of russian army
Due to the danger of the approach of the russian army, people from the town of Myrnohrad in the Donetsk Region have to be evacuated in armored capsules, and people are no longer allowed to enter part of the settlement.
Suspilne Donbas writes about this with reference to the deputy head of the Myrnohrad City Military Administration, Tetiana Sytnyk.
The police primarily evacuate families with children.
"It's a very difficult, tense situation. It's scary. Of course, everyone wanted to live in their houses, just like us. But the situation is such that we need to leave as soon as possible, because there are two districts of our town - district "5/6" and “Zakhidnyi” neighborhood - they don't let us in anymore: there is only an exit. People don't enter there anymore, and we take people and children out in capsules," Sytnyk said.
According to her, there are lists of families with children who must be evacuated. However, some families hide their children, claiming that they have already left.
"More than 200 people are involved - teachers, kindergarten teachers, social workers, officials. We have the addresses of each family. We have a large list where we indicate the date when the family promised to evacuate. If the family does not evacuate independently, we organize the transportation that is available in the community, transportation to the evacuation centers in the city of Pokrovsk. But some people even hide the children from us," she said.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the police in Myrnohrad, Donetsk region, which the russians are approaching, will search for parents who are hiding their children from evacuation.
