Rada relieves MP Zadorozhnii as chair of Temporary special commission on fortifications and UAVs

The Verkhovna Rada has relieved Member of Parliament Mykola Zadorozhnii from the post of the chairman of the Temporary special commission on the use of state budget funds for the construction of fortifications and engineering barriers on the contact line, as well as for the manufacture and procurement of unmanned aerial vehicles for military units and subdivisions of the Armed Forces and other military formations formed in accordance with laws of Ukraine.

A total of 282 parliamentarians backed draft resolution No. 11422 as a whole, with the minimum required 228.

Iryna Herashchenko, co-chair of the European Solidarity faction in the parliament, announced this on her Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

According to the resolution, it is proposed to make changes to the personal composition of the Temporary special commission on fortifications and UAVs, namely: to recall Zadorozhnii from the position of the chairman of the commission.

Instead, it is proposed to elect another parliamentarian from the Servant of the People - Oleksandr Bakumov, as the chairman of the commission.
