Zelenskyy at Staff meeting discussed equipping of brigades for rotation in most difficult areas

On Tuesday, July 16, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, at which, in particular, they discussed the issue of equipping brigades for rotation in the most difficult areas.

Zelenskyy announced this on his Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

"A lot of time was devoted to the topic of equipping brigades for rotation in the most difficult areas: people, weapons, military equipment, proper material and technical support. Chief of the General Staff Anatolii Barhylevych reported," he said.

The Staff also heard a report by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, about the situation in the main areas: Pokrovsk, Toretsk, Chasiv Yar, Kupiansk, Vovchansk, as well as information about the intentions of the russian troops and the Ukrainian response to them.

In addition, information about the production and receipt of weapons was heard at the Staff meeting.

"The entire list of our own production - projectiles, drones, equipment, as well as receipts from partners. We work with them at all levels to quickly remove all obstacles and speed up deliveries," the President said.

Earlier, speaking about the situation at the front, Zelenskyy noted that the biggest problem of this war for Ukraine is that a lot of time passes between the decision of the partners to provide aid to Ukraine and the actual fact of its delivery.

Thus, according to him, the Ukrainian reserve of 14 brigades is not staffed, because they do not have the appropriate weapons.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that "everything is going according to plan" regarding the mobilization to the army.
