Russia loses 1,180 soldiers, 16 tanks, 17 armored vehicles, and 57 artillery systems on July 2

Losses of personnel of the russian troops on July 2 increased by 1,180 to 546,270 people; Ukrainian defenders also destroyed 16 tanks, 17 armored fighting vehicles, and 57 artillery systems.

This follows from a statement by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine posted on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

So, the enemy lost 16 tanks (total – 8,123), 17 armored fighting vehicles (total – 15,583), 57 artillery systems (total – 14,712), 1 unit of MLRS (total – 1,115), 2 anti-aircraft vehicles (total – 867), 63 units of automobile equipment and tankers (total – 19,850), 12 units of special equipment (total – 2,464), 27 unmanned aerial vehicles (total – 11,668), and 1 cruise missile (total – 2,336).

Since the start of the war, the enemy has also lost 360 aircraft, 326 helicopters, 28 ships/boats, and 1 submarine.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, losses of personnel of the russian troops on July 1 increased by 1,280 to 545,090 people, equipment - by 8 tanks, 16 armored vehicles, and 56 artillery systems.
