President Petro Poroshenko has recalled eight modern helicopters from the zone of United Nations (UN) humanitarian mission, Poroshenko has written in Twitter.

The said helicopters are to be sent to the antiterrorist operation zone in Donbas [historical region that includes northern part of Donetsk region, and southern part of Luhansk region].

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, in July, in his phone conversation with United Nations Organization Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, Poroshenko noted that the Ukrainian helicopters engaged in UN missions may be returned to the country.
