Court Warrants Arrest Of Humeniuk Suspected Of Using Ball Grenade On August 31 Near Rada House

The award allows no bail.

The Pechersk District Court of Kyiv has warranted arrest till October 29 of Ihor Humeniuk suspected of throwing a grenade at law-enforcers during the August 31 clashes outside the Verkhovna Rada building, Judge Oleh Bilotserkovets has announced.

The award allows no bail.

The judge stressed that he found persuasive prosecutor's arguments about the need of incarceration.

Bilotserkovets also ordered a forensic medial examination because the defence team complained that police officers had inflicted a closed craniocerebral injury on Humeniuk.

The judgement can be appealed within five days.

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, Humeniuk denies his guilt.
