Rada Appealing For UN To Set Up An International Tribunal To Investigate Flight MH17 Crash

Parliament is also seeking support to the decision to establish an international tribunal for a judicial ascertainment of the persons guilty of this crime and their prosecution.

The Verkhovna Rada is appealing for the United Nations Organization and world parliaments to set up an international tribunal to investigate the crash of Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 downed in Donetsk Region on July 17, 2014.

Draft bylaw No.2350a received votes of 248 Members of Parliament, while 226 votes enough for approval.

In particular, in its appeal the parliament is asking the UN and world countries not to allow impunity of those guilty of the crime related to the jetliner crash, and ensure implementation of the principles of inevitability of punishment.

Parliament is also seeking support to the decision to establish an international tribunal for a judicial ascertainment of the persons guilty of this crime and their prosecution.

Australia, Belgium, Malaysia, the Netherlands and Ukraine urge the United Nations Organization Security Council to set up an international tribunal to bring to responsibility persons guilty of the flight MH17 crash.
