The Committee press service has announced.

The Investigative Committee of Russia has brought final charges against Ukrainian military officer and Member of Parliament Nadiya Savchenko (Batkivschyna All-Ukrainian Association faction), arrested in Russia, of aiding and abetting murder and illegal border crossing, the Committee press service has announced.

"The Criminal Investigation Department for offences involving use of forbidden means and methods of warfare of the SK of Russia has brought charges against Ukrainian national Nadiya Savchenko of commission of crimes qualified by the Penal Code of the Russian Federation (aiding and abetting murder of two and more persons, aiding and abetting attempt on two and more persons in a commonly dangerous way, of motives of political hatred, committed by a group of persons, illegal crossing of the Russian Federation's border," it said.

It says the investigation has irrefutable evidence like Savchenko's handwritings confirming her involvement in fire adjustment, findings of ballistics tests of fragments of splinters recovered from bodies of the casualties, photo and video records from the place of journalists' death, obtained from space satellites.

Soon, the Savchenko case records will be severed into a separate proceeding from the general criminal case on using forbidden means and methods of warfare to complete the inquiry, provide the files to the parties for studying and subsequently convey to court.

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, Savchenko's lawyer Mark Feygin will propose her to change her defence counselors.
