European Commission Disburses EUR 250 Million As Latest Tranche Of Macro-Financial Assistance To Ukraine

The European Commission raised the money on financial markets through private placement of a 15-year amortizing bond with a 10-year grace period and a yield of 0.519%.

The European Commission has disbursed EUR 250 million to Ukraine as the final tranche of its first Macro-Financial Assistance to the country. This was announced in a statement on the website of the European Commission.

The European Commission raised the money on financial markets through private placement of a 15-year amortizing bond with a 10-year grace period and a yield of 0.519%.

EUR 100 million was disbursed to Ukraine as the first tranche of the first Macro-Financial Assistance on May 20, 2014, and EUR 260 million was disbursed as the second tranche on November 12, 2014.

As Ukrainian News reported, the European Commission approved provision of EUR 1.8 billion in macro-financial assistance to Ukraine in mid-April.
