160,000 IDPs To Go To Polls In Parliamentary Election

Denisova says that this is the predominant majority of IDPs with the right to vote, only some 20,000 IDPs have not submitted relevant applications.

1,600 Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) will take part in the snap parliamentary election on October 26, Social Policy Minister Liudmyla Denisova has told a telephone conference.

"As of today morning, 427,000 displaced persons are registered, over 160,000 registered who will be taking part in the election process as of today. All their rights are satisfied, they will be voting where they are living now," she said.

Denisova says that this is the predominant majority of IDPs with the right to vote, only some 20,000 IDPs have not submitted relevant applications.

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, 32,823 citizens, registered in Donetsk and Luhansk regions have changed the voting stations for the early parliamentary election.
